About Victoria Levy...

                 Hudson Valley native and singer songwriter guitarist Victoria Levy has a new album underway and much more in the upcoming year. In recent years Victoria recorded with Grammy winning producer Kirk Yano on an album featuring music written by Victoria and musicians Neal Evans of Soulive and currently Jack White’s Band, as well as Tommy Mandel on keys. When not out touring, Victoria is a vocal instructor at The Paul Green Rock Academy in Woodstock.

                Over the years Victoria has been in some very influential and innovative bands including; Slick Idiot which features En Esch and Guenter Schulz of KMFDM. Victoria was a featured singer and writer on their album “Xcrewciating”.  Victoria also was a vocalist with punk rock band leader of The Slits,  Ari Forster in Ari-Up. After the tragedy of 911 Victoria and Ari entered in a song writing contest “Don’t Say Nothing” incorporating their own take and lyrics into the music and won the “Village Voice 9-11 Songwriting Contest.”
                Victoria’s song “Gimme” is featured in the film “Whisper Me A Lullaby” starring John Heard and Christina Vinsick. The song is co-written by Victoria Levy and Clip Payne of PFunk. The same song was chosen for cosmetics giants 10thStudio in Hong Kong.

                 Other fun facts…Victoria was featured in a couple music videos including; The Zombies “Any Other Way” and Beki Brindle’s “Young Woman’s Blues” starring Golden Globe winner Brad Douriff. People Victoria has shared the stage with include; Beki Brindle, The Zombies, Patti Rothberg, Bobby Messano, John Sebastian, Gene Cornish, Tommy James, The Blues Magoos, and many more.
